Recognising Excellence in Safer Workplaces
Celebrate the Australian organisations, leaders and teams driving real change in mental health, wellbeing and psychosocial safety at work.
The Psychosocial Safety and Leadership Awards celebrate organisations, leaders and initiatives driving real change in workplace safety and wellbeing across Australia.
Hosted by the Psychosocial Safety and Leadership Institute, these Awards shine a spotlight on those committed to growth, inclusion and mental wellbeing in the workplace.
Psychosocial safety is not a trend. It is the foundation of a workplace where people feel respected, supported and able to be their best. In 2026, we have raised the benchmark. Our criteria are now deeply aligned with the Australian Legislation and the highest levels of safety integrity.
To enter these Awards is to demonstrate that your organisation is at the forefront of the movement. We are here to honour the journey, not just the results. From innovative job redesign to everyday improvements in consultation, we celebrate the leadership that builds healthier, more sustainable teams.
What we celebrate:

Recognising Excellence in Psychosocial Safety
We have 3 meaningful, prestigious categories. These Awards honour the people, teams and ideas making real change in workplace wellbeing and safety.

Celebrates a leader who's gone above and beyond to create a psychologically safe, supportive workplace culture. It's about commitment, consistency and courage.
This Award recognises leaders who demonstrate exceptional dedication to psychosocial safety through system-level changes, genuine worker consultation and evidence-based approaches that prioritise higher-order controls.

Honours a cross-functional team - HR, WHS, leadership and more - working together to embed psychosocial safety into the fabric of their organisation. True change is a team effort.
This Award celebrates teams that demonstrate systematic risk management, collaborative implementation and measurable improvements through working together across departments.

Shines a light on bold thinking - an initiative, program or solution that challenges the status quo and delivers meaningful impact in managing psychosocial hazards.
This Award recognises innovations grounded in evidence-based practice, aligned with the hierarchy of controls and demonstrating real improvements in psychosocial safety.
Each Award highlights a different path to creating safer, more inclusive workplaces.
